Finnish Folk Metal Superstars\u00a0KORPIKLAANI\u00a0<\/strong>are happy to finally announce the release of their upcoming 10th studio album entitled\u00a0\u00bbKulkija\u00ab<\/strong>\u00a0(“Wanderer”), on September 7th, 2018 through\u00a0Nuclear Blast<\/strong>. Its cover\u00a0<\/span>(see below!)<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>was designed by\u00a0Jan Yrlund<\/strong>\u00a0(BATTLE BEAST<\/strong>,\u00a0MANOWAR<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>etc.), who has already created several artworks for previous albums and singles for the band.<\/p>\n

Founding member\u00a0Jonne J\u00e4rvel\u00e4<\/strong>\u00a0commented:
\n“We’ve never been as satisfied with a final result as we are with \u00bbKulkija\u00ab. We tried to keep it very natural, and that’s what you’ll soon be able to hear clearly.\u00a0Like the wanderer, this album is a journey, one that makes you feel good.\u00a0Stay tuned!”<\/em><\/p>\n

Accordionist\u00a0Sami Perttula<\/strong>\u00a0added:
\n“\u00bbKulkija\u00ab isn’t just a collection of songs, it’s a “real” album with a unique atmosphere guiding the listeners through a long journey.\u00a0All songs were well prepared in advance and nothing needed to be arranged in the studio. Tuomas [fiddle] & I had lots of space to develop and play the folk arrangements.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Since every album release needs to be celebrated in the right way,\u00a0<\/span>KORPIKLAANI<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>are additionally announcing an accompanying\u00a0<\/span>Russian release tour<\/strong>, which will lead them through 13 cities in 16 days.
